Daily Spiritual Self-Examination
Inspired by the devotional practices of the Puritans and Reformed tradition, use these questions each day to examine your walk with Christ in light of Scripture, to cultivate repentance, and to grow in holiness by the Spirit.

Checklist for Self-Examination:
1. Did I begin the day with God in prayer and Scripture? (Mark 1:35; Psalm 5:3)
2. Was my heart lifted to God throughout the day? (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
3. Did I mortify any known sin today? (Romans 8:13; Colossians 3:5)
4. Did I speak the truth in love and guard my tongue? (Ephesians 4:15, 29)
5. Was I diligent in my calling and did I avoid idleness? (Colossians 3:23; Proverbs 6:6)
6. Did I show kindness and patience to others? (Galatians 5:22–23; Ephesians 4:2)
7. Did I consider eternity and Christ’s return? (Titus 2:13; 2 Peter 3:11–12)
8. Have I repented of any known sin? (1 John 1:9; Proverbs 28:13)
9. Have I remembered the gospel and rested in Christ's righteousness, not my own? (Philippians 3:9; Hebrews 4:16)
10. Do I long more for heaven than I did yesterday? (2 Corinthians 5:2; Philippians 1:23)
